The RHPR was founded in 1921 by Antonin Causse.
The journal publishes scientific articles in French language and pertaining to Christianity and to religions with which Christianity has frequent relationship, notably Judaism and Islam. These articles are addressed to the Chief Editor, and are submitted to the Editorial Board.
